TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian government on Sunday condemned the recent terrorist bombings which took place in Iraq and claimed the lives of scores of innocents, offering the victims' families its sincerest condolences and wishing the wounded a quick recovery.


Earlier on the day, a series of terrorist attacks by car bombs that targeted markets and parking places in several areas in Iraq claimed the lives of 54 Iraqi citizens, SANA reported.

More than 580 persons have been killed in Iraq by terrorist attacks since October, according to Iraqi medical and security sources.
