Tehran, Oct 27, IRNA Some 3.93 million foreign tourists have visited Iran in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2013), an official said on Sunday.Deputy head of Iran?s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) for Tourism Affairs Manouchehr Jahanian said the figure marked a 26-percent rise in comparison with the corresponding period last year.
With its ancient ruins, glittering mosques and spectacular landscapes, Iran is home to some of the worlds historical, cultural and natural treasures.
