TEHRAN (FNA)- Israeli forces raided houses in the Northern West Bank village of Sansour and detained two Palestinian men, security sources said.
They detained Bilal Abdul Latif Al-Ayasa, 21, and Bilal Hilal Hababa, 20, after ransacking their houses on Tuesday, Ma'an reported.
The sources confirmed that more than seven military vehicles had raided the village.
The raids and detentions were part of a wider campaign of raids on Palestinian residential areas across various regions of Jenin district that took place on Tuesday.
An Israeli spokeswoman confirmed the two arrests and said the men were wanted for suspicion of participating in "illegal activity." She was unfamiliar with reports of two other raids.
In Burqin, locals said Israeli forces raided the town and began firing tear-gas canisters, leading to clashes with Palestinian villagers.
In Jaba, in the Southern region of Jenin district, seven military vehicles raided the town and ransacked houses.
