Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA Head of Jewish community in Iran in a letter expressed the communitys support for President Hassan Rouhanis stance in New York.Homayoun Sameyah Najafabadisaid the Jewish community in Iran is proud of the speech delivered by President Rouhani at the UN General Assembly.
He said the Iranian Presidents UN address was based on logic and reiterated the Iranian nations rights.
As to visit to New York of the Jewish representative at the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) Siamak Mare Sedq accompanying President Rouhani, Najafabadi described it as special attention paid by the Iranian government to the Jewish community.
