Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said naval forces will respond to any violation of the countrys national waters, stressing that Iran is the safest country in the region.Addressing a local gathering, Sayyari said ensuring security in the international waters is an important issue.
The Iranian naval forces are well protecting the countrys merchant vessels in the international waters.
Referring to international presence of the Iranian naval forces, the commander said the Army vessels are currently patroling the Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb.
