Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA Court of Audit of Iran is hosting the 13th Asian Ombudsman Association Conference as of Monday.Delegates from 20 world states are to attend the three-day conference.Irans Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani is to address the opening ceremony of the event.
The Asian Ombudsman Association (AOA) was established on April 16, 1996 as a non-governmental, non-political, independent and professional forum for Ombudsmen in Asia. The idea to form the AOA surfaced in 1995.
The AOA has currently 27 members.
