Moscow, Oct 6, IRNA Irans Ambassador to MoscowReza Sajjadi said the same stances of Iran and Russia on the issue of Syria have made the two countries close.He made the remarks in a meeting with a number of Russian bloggers here on Saturday.
The Iranian envoy added, We have a very good understanding with Russia on key issues.
He continued that Iran and Russias stances on many regional issues are either the same or very close to each other.
Sajjadi underlined that Iran opposes presence of alien forces in the region of the Caspian Sea.
The Iranian diplomat stressed that Tehran is opposed to deploying any foreign military forces in the Central Asia region, too.
