Syrian Kurds continue fight against militants in Hasaka

TEHRAN (FNA)- A large number of Syrian Kurds and rebels have been killed in fierce clashes that still continue in the city of Hasaka, FNA reports said Saturday.


Units of the Syrian Kurds' Popular Support Committees and anti-government forces havebeen locked in a heavy battle in the city of Hasaka in the last few days, and tens of fighters have been killed and wounded on both sides.

FNA bureau in Damascus said clashes now continue in Tel Half region and in the southern parts of Hasaka city.

Crossfire has also been reported between the two sides in Southern Reef (countryside of) Hasaka, specially in the towns of Al-Qahtaniah and Al-Javadiah.

FNA dispatches from Hasaka also said that Syrian army troops have pounded rebels' concentration points in the Southern reef of Hasaka, killing dozens of anti-government forces in the attack.
