TEHRAN Sep 22 (Shana): National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) completed drilling of 23 wells in Yadavaran oil field. Director of drilling operations at NIDC, Hosain Rahimi, made the remarks adding with deploying 3 heavy drilling rigs and round the clock efforts by NIDCs workforce, the company succeeded to drill 80.832 meters of well in Yadavaran oil field.
He continued the project included 19 developmental and 4 workover wells which were completed and handed over to the employer.
According to NIDCs official, the project started in 2010 under a contract concluded with Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC).
He went on to say that the drilling rigs deployed in the project had been cleared to be transferred to Yaran, Southern Azadegan and Masjed Soleiman fields for conducting drilling.
The first phase of development plan of Yadavaran oil field includes drilling 55 wells in total including 46 developmental, 3 descriptive, 3 injections and repairing 3 exploratory wells to realize the goal of production of 85 thousand barrels per day of oil. Development plan of Yadavaran oil field has been divided to 3 phases. The field will yield 85.000, 100.000 and 300.000 barrels of oil per day respectively in the first, second and third phases.
Setting up above the ground facilities for collection, processing and transfer of oil and gas, treatment and injection of oil wastes, oil lifting facilities and construction of oil and gas pipelines are the other activities projected in the oil field.
Located 70 km southwest of Ahvaz, Yadavaran oil field includes three layers named Sarvak, Kajdomi and Fahlian.
