TEHRAN (FNA)- UN-Arab League envoy Lakhdar Brahimi said that there is a great hope to hold Geneva II next month, stressing that the Syrian militant groups have to recognize that there cannot be a military solution in Syria.


Brahimi told Russia Today that the Russian-American role is central in any future settlement for the Syrian crisis, hoping for a unified Arab stance towards the peaceful solution in Syria.

Brahimi noted that next meeting will be expanded as international and regional parties will attend.

Brahimi asserted that the conference must include only the parties that believe in dialogue.
