The Fourth Childchronicles the story of an Iranian nurse who leaves her country to aid the famine-stricken people and war-torn country, but shortly thereafter she decided to begin a career in photography to raise awareness about the human disaster in this part of the world.
Some parts of the film were shot in the Sahara Desert in northern Africa, portraying the Battle of Mogadishu (1993) and depicting the scenes related to the violence against women and children.
Some local actors star in Mousaians movie along with the Iranian cast and crew.
The film photographer Ali Nikraftar also displayed a collection of photos onThe Fourth Childduring an exhibition held in Tehran few days ago.
Any region with its special locations makes it a unique place for a photographer to record events, he stated.
Sponsored by UNICEF, the film is slated to have public screenings across the world, according to an agreement inked by Irans Farabi Cinematic Foundation and UNICEF.
