Iran Majlis continues debate of Rouhanis proposed ministers for 4th day

Tehran, Aug 15, IRNA Irans Parliament (Majlis) presided by Speaker Ali Larijani started the fourth day of debate on competency of the proposed ministers of President Hassan Rohani on Thursday.
The Iranian MPs examine competency of Mohammadreza Nematzadeh for the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in Thursday morning session.

Debate on competency of proposed ministers started in the Iranian Majlis on August 12.

Iranian lawmakers examine qualification of the would-be ministers in morning and afternoon sessions.

Iranian MPs on Wednesday scrutinized the credentials and backgrounds of Ali Rabei (nominated for Ministry of Labor, Cooperatives, and Social Welfare), Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi (Ministry of Justice), Hossein Dehqan (Ministry of Defense) and Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi (Ministry of Roads and Urban Development).

On Tuesdays, the MPs discussed qualification of six proposed ministers including Ali Najafi (nominated for Ministry of Education), Mahmoud Vaezi (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), Mohammad-Javad Zarif (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi (Ministry of Health).

President Rohani attended Majlis sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

President Rohani unveiled the list of his proposed cabinet members during his swearing-in ceremony on August 4.
