According to The Iran Project, During his first trip to Bushehr Province since taking office in July, Pezeshkian paid a visit to the Shahid Mahallati Shipyard on Thursday morning.

Established in 1996, the shipbuilding company has become a key player in designing, constructing, repairing, and reconstructing a wide range of vessels, including aluminum, steel, and fiberglass boats, as well as various marine structures.

During his tour, Pezeshkian was briefed on the shipyard's portfolio, which includes the design and operation of numerous vessels such as coast guard boats, pilot boats, marine ambulances, tugboats, landing crafts, and even marine restaurants, the president’s official website reported.

The shipyard has also played a key role in constructing, repairing, and renovating many military vessels for the Iranian Armed Forces. Notably, it has contributed to building fast boats for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy.

The shipyard is dedicated to training skilled workers in the assembly and welding of aluminum vessels.

During the presidential visit, 10 coast guard and pilot vessels were delivered to the Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) of Iran.

Pezeshkian also visited the facilities of Sadra company, which manufactures ships, oil and gas platforms, as well as docks.
