According to The Iran Project, peaking at a gathering of 1,000 families of Army Aviation personnel in Mashhad, Khamoushi highlighted the force’s historical role, stating that the Airborne Division has not only supported the Islamic Republic since its establishment but also stood alongside the people during the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
General Khamoushi reiterated that the Army Aviation force remains at peak readiness. “With the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, strategic leadership, and the dedication of its personnel, this major helicopter fleet is fully operational,” he said, adding that the Airborne Division has achieved significant progress in manufacturing modern equipment and will soon unveil new developments.
Concluding his remarks, he expressed gratitude to the families of Army Aviation personnel, emphasizing their crucial role in the success and growth of the force.
The event concluded with a ceremony honoring families of martyrs, veterans, and distinguished personnel.
