According to The Iran Project, The air defense forces from the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) have been conducting a joint war game since January 7.

On Sunday morning, the organizers of the war game shifted the drill zone to the country’s northern and western areas.

The air defense units have exercised plans for the protection of the Fordow nuclear site in Qom Province and Arak’s Khondab nuclear facility in Markazi Province.

The Army Air Defense is practicing protecting the sensitive and vital locations against simulated aerial and missile attacks.

Last week, the air defense division of the IRGC Aerospace Force employed point-defense tactics to protect a nuclear site in Natanz against an array of aerial threats amid possible electronic warfare.

The Iranian forces also activated Dey-9 air defense missile system to practice intercepting a bunker buster dropped from a warplane.

The homegrown air defense system could track, intercept and destroy the bunker buster in less than 15 seconds at a distance of 17 kilometers away from the nuclear site.
