Leader assassinations won't deter resistance against oppression, bullying: Pezeshkian
According to The Iran Project, Pezeshkian issued a message on Friday after Hamas officially confirmed that Sinwar was martyred during a direct confrontation on the battlefield with the Israeli forces in southern Gaza.

"The enemy should know that the martyrdom of commanders, heroes, and leaders will not weaken the resistance of the Islamic nation against bullying and occupation," he wrote.

"When a leader falls, another rises," he quoted Ismail Haniyeh, another leader of Hamas assassinated by the Israeli regime, as saying.

Sinwar "heroically until his last breath, never giving up," said the president, referring to footage that shows him confronting the occupation regime forces despite being injured.

"Fighting against aggression and giving the gift of freedom and liberation to the rightful owners of occupied lands is a grand movement and a noble goal that will not be halted by the assassination and elimination of its heroes," Pezeshkian added.

The Iranian president added that the martyrdom of the Hamas leader was "painful and distressing" for all the freedom-seeking nations in the world, particularly for the heroic people of Palestine but it is also “a clear sign of the unstoppable crimes of the occupying and child-killing Zionist regime.”

He also offered his condolences over the martyrdom of Sinwar to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the oppressed but strong people of Palestine in Gaza and all the freedom-seeking nations across the world over the martyrdom of Sinwar.
