Iran beats S. Korea at FIBA Asian Championship
Iran defeated South Korea at the 27th FIBA Asia Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Friday.
The Iranian team beat the Korean outfit 76-65 in Group C. In the same group, China demolished Malaysia 113-22 at the MOA Arena.

We expected such a game from Korea. After winning against China, they had all the confidence, said Iran coach Mehmed Becirovic. We had problems on defense. At halftime we talked about it and we improved.

In the first half we played bad. We didnt focus. In the second half we played better defensively, said the 28-year-old Hadadi, who last played for the Phoenix Suns.

Hadadi, the former Memphis Grizzlies reserve, led Iran with 30 points and was chosen as the man of the match.Iran will face China on Saturday. The Persian destroyed Malaysia 115-25 in their opener.
