Karbala Police media Director, Col. Ahmed Omran said "Karbala Police took intensified measures in fear of expected bombings similar to those swept Baghdad and some provinces this morning."
Baghdad and a number of other provinces witnessed this morning awave of bombingsthat claimed dozens of lives.
