Iran condemns terrorist attacks in Afghanistan

The Iran Project : Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has condemned recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan’s cities of Kabul and Kandahar.

According to The Iran Project, Kanaani on Friday expressed condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of the attacks and wished a speedy recovery for the injured people.

A day earlier, a suicide bombing outside a bank in the southern city of Kandahar killed three people and injured 12 others, according to local police. 

The blast killed civilians who had gathered in front of the bank to withdraw cash, the Kandahar police department added in a statement.

A hospital official however put the death toll at 20. The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the Kandahar attack. 

Later on Thursday, local sources reported a massive explosion in the capital, Kabul. But, there were no immediate reports of possible casualties and the exact venue of the blast.
