Iran's Interior Ministry authorized to import 2,000 cars
In a letter, Narges Bagheri Zomordi communicated a resolution ratified by the Council of Ministers on December 13 of this year regarding the registration, entry, and clearance of 2,000 passenger cars with hybrid electric priority by the Ministry of Interior.
The resolution was also approved by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in case of complying with other regulations.
The resolution was then communicated to the import office of the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Therefore, as per the notified resolution, with the approval of the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Interior has been authorized to register the import order and clearance of 2,000 passenger cars with electric and hybrid priority.
Accordingly, the Interior Ministry has joined the group of authorized car importers.
