The Iran Project : Tehran Fire Department spokesperson announced that Gandhi Hospital in the Iranian capital has caught fire.
According to the Iran Project, Jalal Maleki made the announcement on Thursday evening.
He stated that the incident began around 7 p.m. and firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene of the incident.
The fire appears to be concentrated on the exterior of the hospital building, the spokesperson added while saying that the cause of the incident was under investigation.
The head of Gandhi Hospital said that the east side of the hospital was on fire and the patients and the staff members were evacuated from the hospital.
According to the information information, none of the patients or staff members were wounded.
The Governor of Tehran said that the fire was contained within nearly two hours.
