Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani expressed readiness for developing relations with Iran in fighting terrorism and for economic cooperation.

Speaking in a meeting with governor-general of West Azarbaijan Province Mohammad Sadeq Motamedian, Barzani stressed the expansion of all-out relations between KRG and Iran, especially West Azarbaijan.

Meanwhile, Motamedian said that Iran has put on the agenda developing trade ties with neighboring countries.

He also referred to improvement of infrastructure on the common border with neighbors, especially Iraq.

We are ready to cooperate in the fields of education, agriculture, construction, culture, gas supply and Iranian pilgrims' access to Syria.
