Swiss Ambassador to Iran in a message appreciated Iranian singer Homayoun Shajarian for his outstanding contribution in the field of culture and art.

�Honored to welcome legendary artist Mr. Homayoun Shajarian,� Nadine Olivieri Lozano said in her message which was published by the Embassy official Twitter account on Tuesday.

On this occasion, a letter of appreciation was handed over to him for his outstanding contribution in the field of culture and art. Also an opportunity to pay our respects to his late father, Maestro Shajarian, she added.

�On July 9, Ambassador Nadine Olivieri Lozano along with the Cultural Attach� of the Embassy and lovers of culture, art and music attended �Be Rang-e- Seda�, performed by Homayoun Shajarian accompanied by Siavosh Orchestra & conducted by Arash Gooran," the Embbasy said earlier in a separate Twitter message.
