Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi referred to historical, cultural and religious commonalities between Iran and Azerbaijan, saying Iran is determined to take major step for developing all-out relations with Azerbaijan.

Speaking in a meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, Raisi said Iranian companies and private sector is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in reconstruction of Azeri areas and implementing joint projects in technical, engineering and infrastructure fields.

He noted that both states can enjoy close cooperation in regional and international fields and in line with meeting both nations� interests.

Meanwhile, Gafarova assured that Tehran-Baku relations will be developed during the new president term.

He pointed out that Azerbaijan welcomes Iranian companies� participation in implementation of various projects.
