Tasnim Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif will be taking part in an upcoming session of the Parliaments National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, a lawmaker said.
Rapporteur of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Naqavi Hosseini told Tasnim that Foreign Minister will attend the meeting of the commission on Monday, May 11.
The foreign minister will go to the Parliament to answer questions from a number of the lawmakers, the MP added.
Foreign Minister Zarif has stepped up diplomatic contacts with the neighboring countries in recent weeks and has discussed various regional and international issues with the foreign officials, including the situation in Afghanistan, Yemen, and Iraq, as well as the efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
