Tasnim � In a letter to fifty religious leaders across the world, the president of the theological schools of Iran expressed the country�s readiness to share its experience in handling the novel coronavirus with other countries.

President of Iran Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza A�rafi sent the letter to fifty religious leaders and international figures in different countries.

In his letter, the senior cleric said the country�s readiness to share experiences in the battle with COVID-19 with all other nations.

Among the recipients of the letter are head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis, Grand Imam of Egypt�s al-Azhar University Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh, and Director-General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay.

Last week, Secretary of Iran�s Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution Saeed Reza Ameli sent a letter to a number of major religious leaders and organizers of social campaigns in the world, proposing the establishment of a joint committee of world religious leaders to figure out how to help people across the globe amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
