FNA - Senior Advisor to the Iranian Parliament Speaker Hossein Amir Abdollahian seriously warned the Al Khalifa regime which is running an autocratic rule in Bahrain to avoid pinning hope on Israel which is itself nearing its final collapse.

�Al Khalifa has kept aloof from Bahrainis to the extent that it has taken a usurped, broken and sinking Israeli ship for its survival,� Amir Abdollahian wrote in a tweet on Friday, harshly rebuking the Arab country�s Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa for acting as �a spokesman� for Israel.

�In a flagrant move, the Arab Bahrain�s FM, acting as Israel's spokesman, backed Tel Aviv�s aggression to four Arab states (Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria),� he added.

His remarks came after the top Bahraini diplomat took to Twitter to express his support for the Israeli attacks against positions in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa labeled Tel Aviv�s attacks an act of �self-defense�.

�Iran is the one who has declared a war on us, with its [Islamic] Revolution Guards Corps, its Lebanese party, its Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq, its Houthi arm in Yemen and others,� Khalifah claimed. �So one who strikes and destroys the piles of their ammunition is not to blame. That is self-defense.�

Back in June, Khalifah took the lid off Bahrain�s longtime secret dealings with Israel by openly saying that Manama wants �peace� and �better� relations with the occupying entity.

Last weekend, Israeli drones struck a convoy belonging to Iraq�s Popular Mobilization Units near the Iraqi town of al-Qa�im close to the Syrian border, killing a commander and severely wounding a fighter.

This came a day after Israel carried out strikes near the Syrian capital, Damascus, claiming that the air raids were �able to thwart an Iranian attempt ... to conduct an attack on Israeli targets ... using killer drones.�

Just hours later in early Sunday, two explosives-laden Israeli drones violated Lebanese airspace on a bombing mission and crashed in the stronghold the Hezbollah resistance movement in the south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. One of the drones blew up near the ground, causing some damage to Hezbollah�s media office.

Early in this month, the Iranian foreign ministry lashed out at Bahrain for suspicious and provocative moves, saying that they disturb regional security and stability.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Moussavi referred to the upcoming meetings to be hosted by Manama on the so-called issue of maritime security, and denouncing "suspicious" and "provocative" meetings and the "allegations" against Iran in the recent statements of Bahrain Foreign ministry as disturbing factors in the regional security and stability.

The Iranian diplomat said that such moves will set the ground for military intervention of trans-regional forces such as the Zionist Israeli regime in the Persian Gulf.

The spokesman called on Bahrain to take a constructive stance and stop such unwise moves.

The security of countries in the region is inseparable, and there will be no security for certain states at the cost of others, he warned, adding that it is advisable that countries in the region take prudent stances to prevent any provocative intervention of foreigners.

The small island nation of Bahrain in the Southern part of the Persian Gulf is preparing itself to host a summit this fall on regional maritime and what has been called as aviation threats posed by Iran.

US special representative for Iran Brian Hook and bin Ahmed al Khalifa announced the summit in Washington on July 17. The gathering will likely be held in late October.

Late in June, Amir Abdollahian had slammed Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for allowing their lands be used as a platform for the US military to spy on other countries of the region, and warned them against playing with regional security and stability.
