Financial Tribune - Iran plans to launch air taxi services, says the head of Iran Airports Company, Siavash Amir-Mokri.

According to the official, since many airports in Iran are operating below capacity due to shortage of aircraft, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami has ordered the use of air taxis for passenger transportation, Iranian news website Digiato reported.

An air taxi is a small commercial aircraft that makes short flights on demand.
