Iran trades with 169 countries

TEHRAN, Jun. 30 (MNA) Irans Customs Administration announced that Throughout the first 4 months of the year 2013 Iran had trades with 169 countries with an import volume of $15,041,000,000.
As reported by Mehr News Agency, Irans Custom administration said: Throughout the first 4 months of the year 2013, Islamic Republic of Iran traded with 169 countries in the world. Among these 169 countries with which Iran had business transactions, Iran had a positive trade balance with 83 countries while there was a negative trade balance in transactions with the rest, said the Iranian customs administration, Mehr reported.

The report further adds that the greater part of Irans positive trade balance was with Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Egypt and Pakistan. According to the report, Iran had the most negative balance of trade with Emirates, Korean Republic, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

Through the first 4 months of this year Iran exported 24,309,000 tons of goods with a value of $10,178,000,000 while 11,109,000 tons of goods with a value of $15,041,000 were imported to the country.
