IRNA � Iranian president will visit the western province of Lorestan on Saturday to closely examine the flood-stricken regions in the province.

After arriving in Khorramabad airport, President Hassan Rouhani and his entourage will depart for Pol-e Dokhtar and Mamulan to visit the flood hit regions.

After the visit, president will attend a meeting with local officials to examine and exchange ideas on taking proper decision to prevent probable flood in the province.

Earlier, the Iranian president, accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers visited the flood hit province of Khuzestan southwest of the country.

Devastating flood hit various provinces in Iran in recent days leaving high number of casualties.
