IRNA � Iranian Ambassador to Brunei Homeyra Rigi on Tuesday presented her credentials to Sultan Hassan al-Bolkiah in Bandar Seri Begawan, the country's capital on Tuesday.

The ambassador conveyed greetings from President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif to the king.
Mrs. Rigi called for the king's support for expansion of relations between the two countries, especially economic ties.

The Sultan welcomed the Iranian ambassador and said that there is no obstacle in the way of expansion of relations.

Rigi was the former governor of Ghasr-e Ghand City in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan. She is the second Iranian woman ambassador.
