Financial Tribune - The goods and services Consumer Price Index in Kurdestan Province saw an increase of 58.3% during the month to March 20 compared with the similar month of last year, the highest among all provinces.

The year-on-year CPI increase was the lowest for Hormozgan with 39.5%, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.

The overall goods and services CPI in Iran registered a YOY increase of 47.5% in the month.

The CPI (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 164.3 for the month, indicating a 3.9% rise compared with the previous month.

The growth in overall CPI compared with the previous month (Jan. 21-Feb. 19) was the highest (5.4%) for Qazvin and lowest (3%) for East Azarbaijan.
