The Wall Street Journal |Courtney McBride: The State Department on Wednesday blamed Saudi Arabian government agents for the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and for other unlawful killings in an annual world-wide survey of human rights that spotlighted abuses by U.S. allies and adversaries alike.
The report cited a range of other human-rights issues in Saudi Arabia, including executions for nonviolent offenses, forced renditions and disappearances, torture of prisoners and a lack of civil and religious rights.
