Tasnim � Iraq�s Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said Baghdad would seek to finalize the �strategic dossiers� with Tehran during an upcoming visit by the Iranian president to the Arab country.


During a press conference on Tuesday in Baghdad, Adel Abdul-Mahdi confirmed a forthcoming visit by President Hassan Rouhani to Iraq, according to Al-Masalah news website.

�We want to determine the fate of our strategic dossiers with the Iranian president who will soon head to Iraq,� the prime minister said.

Recently, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Rouhani will visit the Arab country on March 11.

The Iranian top diplomat added that Rouhani�s trip is aimed at boosting bilateral relation between Tehran and Baghdad.
