Financial Tribune - Iran traded 89,066 tons of non-oil commodities worth $148.22 million with Australia during the first 10 months of the current fiscal year (March 21, 2018-Jan. 20), registering an 86.46% and 26.02% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year's corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.

Iran�s exports to Australia stood at 13,143 tons worth $29.11 million, down 7.59% and 7.46% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.

Australia was Iran�s 47th export destination during the period.

Iran mainly exported floorings, dates, pistachios, polystyrene and alabaster to Australia during the 10-month period.

Australia exported 75,923 tons of goods worth $119.1 million to Iran, up 126.34% and 38.25% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. It was the 27th exporter of goods to Iran over the 10 months.

The imports mainly included lamb meat, coal, machinery and pod vegetables.
