Tasnim The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, denounced a terrorist attack in southeast Iran that killed 27 members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Wednesday.
Hezbollah, in a statement released late last night, condemned the criminal act carried out by Takfiri terrorist groups and accused the US, Israel and their regional allies of being behind the attack.
The terror attack against members of Irans Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) killed more than 20 people in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Wednesday.
The IRGC personnel were traveling between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, in Sistan and Baluchestan, when their bus was targeted in a suicide car bomb attack.
The IRGCs Quds Base said in a statement that an explosives-laden car rammed into the bus, which was taking the personnel back to their homes.
The attack killed 27 IRGC members and injured 13 others.
The so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.
In its statement, the Lebanese resistance movement said Takfiri terrorist groups created by Washington, Tel Aviv and their regional partners have been frightened by the Iranian nations huge turnout in the rallies marking the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution on Monday and, therefore, sought to send a bloody message by carrying out the suicide attack.
Hezbollah went on to underline that such crimes will not weaken the Iranian nation but rather will strengthen their resolve to keep moving on the path of progress and prosperity.
