Pakistani ambassador: Strengthening trade relations with Iran my priority
IRNA - Pakistani ambassador to Tehran Riffat Masood said her countrys relations with Iran are beyond just neighborhood, saying that efforts to develop commercial and economic cooperation and strengthen cultural relations between the two neighbors, is one of the priorities of her mission in Tehran.

Masoud, who as the first Pakistani woman ambassador in Tehran, submitted her credentials to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday, while congratulating him on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

She highlighted, Iran is a friend and brother country, and the deep and fraternal ties between the two neighbors will always be firm and unbreakable, and certainly these ties will be strengthened day by day.

'As the ambassador of Pakistan, I intend vie support of the people and the government of Iran to do my best in the context of expanding relations and cooperation in all spheres, especially in the spheres of affairs,' she said while outlining the priorities of her plans to help advance the economic and cultural ties between the two neighboring countries.

She added, 'I will not hesitate to make any effort to accomplish this.'

'One of my goals is that the people of Pakistan can easily travel to Iran for recreation, trade and doing many other things, and the conditions will be provided for those Iranian people who want to travel to Pakistan,' the diplomat noted.
