IRNA � Iran is among world's five powers building combat drones, Iranian Army's Air Force Commander said.

Speaking during an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency on Monday, Brigadier-General Aziz Nasirzadeh said that the Iranian armed forces presently manufacture all the drones they indigenously using the skils of domestic experts.

He said that different types of long-range, combat and surveillance drones are being manufactured by the air force of the Iranian Army.

Referring to the self-sufficiency of the Iranian defense industries, the general said that the Iranian armed forces have gained these achievements despite all sanctions and threats.

The sanctions have not affected the capabilities of the Air Force of the Iranian Army so today Iran possesses one of the most powerful air forces in the region and even the whole world, Nasirzadeh said.
