IRNA Some 40,000 to 50,000 minor cyber-attacks target Iran everyday, according to the head of Civil Defense Organization.
Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) correspondent on Tuesday, Brigadier-General Gholamreza Jalali said that cyber-attacks are divided into three categories: the minor ones, the moderate ones and the highly-important ones.
'Many of these attacks are not so serious so that we do not even notice them,' Jalali said.
There may be some 40,000 to 50,000 minor cyber attacks each day, a large part of which are defused by the security systems of the organizations.
There have not been any highly-significant cyber-attacks over the past year on the countrys infrastructure, the official said.
He urged the need to remain ready to counter any cyber threat against the country.
