IRNA � Hossein Moheb Ahari, an Iranian cinema and theater actor, died of cancer early Wednesday.

The late Moheb Ahari also worked for the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) as a journalist for a couple of years in the 1980s.

Moheb Ahari was born in Tehran on Oct 22, 1951. He had a BA in Persian literature and entered cinema industry in 1988.

He appeared in numerous Iranian movies and played several roles in theater.
