Joint information bank for countries' agreements on terrorism to be formed: MP

IRNA - Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament says it is necessary a joint database to be formed for reviewing existing agreements between countries on terrorism to exchange documents for cooperation.

'Most of those who grow terrorism in the region are outside the area, and most of the victims are from the region,' Hashmatullah Falahatpisheh said Saturday.

Falahatpisheh with emphasis on the necessity of common definitions and criminalization in the face of international regulations and CFT noted, 'Given to new terrorist threats, such as human trafficking, the experiences of countries must also be received in these special cases.'

'It is imperative that there should be a joint plan or framework to combat terrorism, as well as in the field of cultural education and work,' he said.
