IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale shook suburbs of Fereydounshahr, Isfahan province at 20:46 hours local time on Monday. According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at the depth of 10 km underground. The epicenter of the quake was 25km from Fereydounshahr. No report has been released yet on the likely casualties or damage to property. Iran is located on major seismic faults and experiences an earthquake a day on average.
