MNA � The director general of Isfahan Province Airports Company said Sun. that the first flight in Doha-Isfahan route will be launched on January 4, 2019.

Hassan Amjadi went on to say that Qatar Airways will have two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays on this new route with an Airbus 320 passenger jet.

If this route is operationalized, Qatar Airways will have permanent flight routes to four major Iranian cities of Tehran, Shiraz, Mashhad, and Isfahan, he added.

Earlier, Qatar Airways announced that it will add two weekly flights to its existing Doha-Tehran route and add three weekly flights on its Shiraz service in January.

�These latest launches are further evidence of Qatar Airways� commitment to Iran, as well as the expansion of our network in this thriving market ...,� Qatar Airways Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker said in a statement, Reuters reported.
