IRNA � Lebanon stability is important to the region's security, senior advisor to the Iranian parliament speaker said.


Lebanon security and stability reinforces collective security in the region, Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker's Advisor for International Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian noted.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Adnan Mansour, the former Lebanese foreign minister.

Iran attaches importance to relations with Lebanon and Iran assumes Lebanon's security and stability its own security, Amirabdollahian added.

He noted that Lebanon is the forefront of the war against Zionist regime and Takfiri terrorists.

Amirabdollahian said that regional problems, in particular, the crisis in Yemen should be resolved through political ways.
In the meantime, former Lebanese foreign minister for his part thanked Iran's constructive role in the region.

Iran had an important role in restoring peace and stability to Iraq and Syria, he added.
