ISNA Iran-EU high-level seminar, titled International Nuclear Cooperation: Expectations and Responsibilities, kicked off in Brussels, Belgian on Monday.
EU Energy Commissioner, Miguel Arias Caete delivered a speech at the opening of the seminar.
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi, Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid and Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araqchi are also to give a speech.
Earlier Araqchi announced that the Belgian capital is to host two major meetings on Iran on Monday in defiance of the US pressures.
Iran and the European Union plan to hold the third seminar on peaceful nuclear cooperation and the fourth round of high-level political talks in Brussels, according to him.
Salehi is to meet with EU foreign policy head Federica Mogherini later on Monday.
AEOI chief headed to Brussels on Sunday to attend the third EU-Iran High-Level Seminar on International Nuclear Cooperation on November 26 and 27.
During the two-day seminar, Iranian and European officials will exchange views on developing nuclear cooperation and following up decision made at the previous seminars.
