Tasnim � Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif decried Western governments� selective approach to chemical attacks after their refusal to condemn a Sunday chemical attack launched by terrorists on civilians in the Syrian city of Aleppo.


�Where is the West in condemning the chemical attack in Aleppo by terrorists? West's pattern: chemical weapons only condemned if alleged to be used by an enemy; not an ally. A blind eye turned when Saddam used them against Iran, but war waged to destroy them when he was an enemy,� Zarif said in a post on his Twitter account on Sunday.

Shelling by insurgents wounded more than 100 people, mostly civilians, in the suspected toxic gas attack in Syria�s Aleppo on Sunday.

State news agency SANA said 107 people were injured in Aleppo after militants hit three districts with projectiles containing gases that caused choking.
