IRNA- Head of Iran's Center for Foreign Investment Services, said that in the first seven months of this Iranian year (starting March 21), $12 million was invested in the livestock and poultry sector and $ 400,000 in fisheries and aquaculture.
Mohammad Mahdi Dalvand, speaking at at the first conference to introducing investment opportunities in the Iranian livestock, poultry and aquaculture Industry on Sunday evening, added, 'In the first seven months of this year, 19 projects with an investment of $366 million in livestock and poultry and four projects worth three million and $600,000 in the fisheries and aquaculture sector were approved by the Organization for Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran.
He added that investments were made by companies from Britain, South Africa, Afghanistan, Germany, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iraq, France, Canada and Malaysia, and $294,000 was invested by Iranians residing abroad.
