IRNA � Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is to confer with President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.

IRNA quoted Malaysia Today News Agency as reporting that Mahathir Mohamad on the sidelines of the 73rd Meeting of the UNGA in New York is to hold talks with President Rouhani and British Prime Minister Theresa May.

He is also to meet with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Hamad Al-Thani as well as President of Sri Lanka.

Mahathir took office in April 2018 as new prime minister of Malaysia.
