IRNA � WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Ahmed Salim al-Mandhari said that Iran had executed Health Development Plan over past years and this work needs support, voicing the readiness by the World Health Organization to support the plan.


He made the remarks in a meeting with Health Minister Hassan Hashemi here on Monday.

Al-Mandhari expressed pleasure for being in Iran and added that Iran is a pattern in the region.

Health system should pay attention to people's basic needs, death of a pregnant mother, cholera problems and nutrition are problems in many countries and Iran is planning to manage and control the problems and WHO decisively supports Iran's technical services.
