MNA � Rouhani sent a message to the new President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa to offer him congratulations on his election in the recent elections.

Your Excellency Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa,

Honourable President of Zimbabwe,

I would like to express my congratulations on the successful holding of elections in Zimbabwe, which concluded in a peaceful atmosphere based on the report by the Islamic Republic of Iran�s supervisory delegation, and also Your Excellency�s victory in the election.

Expressing satisfaction over the growing trend of relations between the two countries, I am confident that in Your Excellency�s term of office, we witness further development of relations and excellent cooperation in international communities.

I wish Your Excellency health and success and the people of Zimbabwe prosperity and felicity.
